Formula Ink
Making Agile Transformation Seamless

Many organizations strive to embrace the Agile philosophy and values to adapt quickly to market changes, customer demands, and the complexities of dealing with modern business growth.

However, there is no shortage of instances where the outcomes of Agile transformation initiatives remain far from optimum. Agile growth requires consistent, incremental changes over time and mindset and a cultural shift which can be challenging for many organizations.

Too often, business leaders perceive Agile as a set of rules or guidelines — and they don’t cultivate an Agile-focused mindset.

Enter Formula Ink — an organization dedicated to inspiring individuals and organizations to leverage their strengths and reach unparalleled results. The company provides coaching, training, and leadership programs from Fortune 100s to startups across many industries and helps with the implementation of Agile techniques for higher performance.

With an experienced team of coaches, they help businesses apply Agile to enhance team effectiveness, reduce conflict, and increase communication to achieve better results.

“An Agile mindset can be the game-changer. When applied in business, it can be the catalyst to disrupt the status quo to create greater business outcomes. It is important for leaders to craft a conducive environment to empower people to achieve these greater results.” says Maria Matarelli, Founder and CEO, Formula Ink. Maria holds nearly two decades of experience in helping people leverage their personal strengths and create outstanding business results and has valiantly led Formula Ink to success. Maria has also pioneered the application of Agile outside of IT while co-founding the Agile Marketing Academy and Personal Agility Institute, leading training courses and consulting companies on applying Agile throughout all departments on a global scale to reach true Business Agility.

In a conversation with CIO Applications, Maria shares her insights on why organizations from enterprises to entrepreneurs should adopt Agile and leverage Scrum or other Agile frameworks. She sheds light on how Formula Ink helps businesses foster their Agile advantage to experience exponential results.

What are the challenges faced by your clients, and how is Formula Ink mitigating those?

The biggest challenges include not embracing the foundations of Agile and straying too far too fast from proven frameworks. Businesses often see their peers applying the techniques and receiving benefits, but they never gain the same outcomes. What too many businesses fail to understand is that Agile is a collaborative and integrated approach that requires empowerment and roadblock removal powered by real leadership support. But, in most cases, there remains a foundational disconnect between employees, their managers, and C-level executives that hinders the proper application and adoption of Agile into the business environment.

We address these challenges through a dynamic training approach paired with project simulations, real-world examples, and breakout sessions.

Our courses enable leaders to get back to their business environment with fresh perspectives, insights, and a blueprint to implement Agile in their workplace.

We help clients create more communication channels and feedback loops within their organizations. We train leaders on how to empower and motivate their teams while accelerating the growth and revenue of their company.
